Wisconsin State Journal Date of entry in original source: 28 March 2008 Text: Pooch, Agnes A./ WOODRUFF/ MARSHALL - Agnes A. 'Ma' Pooch, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Woodruff. She was born on Oct. 8, 1922, in the Town Of Hamden, East Bristol, the daughter of Theodore and Catherine (Berg) Ebert. On May 22, 1940, she married Marvin Pooch and he preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1988. They had farmed in the Deerfield area for many years. Ma was a former active member of St. Mary Of The Nativity Catholic Church in Marshall. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Euchre. Survivors include her children, Alice (Jim) Fillardau of Marshall, Jane (Jerry) Simonson of Springstead, and Arden (Kelly) Pooch of Westfield; her grandchildren, Debbie (Brian) Willie, Chris DeCora, Sheri Pooch, Jen Pooch, Dave Roeben, Scott Roeben, Jimmer Fillardo, Andrew Pooch, Bradley Pooch, Shawn (Chris) Simonson, Kamie (Dave) Evans and Krystal (Daryl) Furseth; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Alice) Ebert of Beaver Dam; a sister, Marie Yelk of Randolph; also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was further preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Alden Pooch; her parents; and six brothers. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 11 a.m. at ST. MARY OF THE NATIVITY CATHOLIC CHURCH in Marshall with Father Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Hart-Vick Funeral Home of Marshall is serving the family.
